BRIEF: EVOKE THE F’D UP SIDE OF THE INTERNET

When MTV asked us to develop show packaging for the spinoff of their wildly popular series Catfish, we knew it would be fun, and it would probably involve Internet slang. Catfish: Trolls follows hostsCharlamagne Tha God and Raymond Braun as they confront various online bullies, and MTV wanted the graphics to be as weird and dark as the far reaches of the Internet exposed on the series.  

SOLUTION: A DARK, GLITCHY, AND ANONYMOUS OPEN

We established a creepy, glitchy, digital treatment for the open and used stock photography to create a feeling of ominous anonymity. Throw in a few messed up words that surfaced in the show itself (twat cracker and douchebagel were our favorites), and we achieved peak Internet immersion.
