BRIEF: HELP A HILARIOUS SHOW GO OUT WITH A BANG
For the final season of their original series Teachers, TV Land asked us to create a campaign that captured match the hilarious energy and raucous style of the show. A critical darling and one of the few comedy series on TV helmed by all women, TV Land wanted to highlight that the show was an underappreciated gem.
SOLUTION: AN OF-THE-MOMENT PROTEST CAMPAIGN
We came up with “Teachers Last Stand,” a campaign concept which harnessed the energy and language of protest graphics, the realities of underappreciated teachers, and the frustration of wrangling a group of elementary school kids. We edited 12 TV spots for the campaign to showcase the physical comedy of the badass women in the series. Each spot included custom graphics inspired by Women’s march signs.
