TOMS Evolved Giving Film
BRIEF: UPDATE THE MODEL OF GIVING FOR GOOD
With its One for One pledge, TOMS pioneered the business model for social good, giving shoes for every product sold. But in 2020, their giving model evolved: TOMS would now be donating $1 for every $3 in profit to impact grants in addition to giving shoes. TOMS came to us to help them announce their new giving model with a bold new film.
SOLUTION: AN EXPLAINER FILM WITH HEART
And/Or designed, directed, and finished a short film that explains TOMS’ new giving model and showcases the employees involved and partner organizations receiving impact grants. Directed by And/Or’s Kelli MIller, the film tells the story of TOMS giving evolution using a mix of archival content, newly shot material that reflects the ethos and culture of TOMS, and complementary design and animation pieces.
